The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2023 on December 8, 2023. This was a big moment for many who had taken the exam.
The next step is the Personality Tests (Interviews) for the successful candidates, which will start from Tuesday, January 2, 2024. These interviews will run until February 16, 2024, and will involve 1026 candidates who passed the main exam.
UPSC Interview is a test of candidate’s overall personality (analytical ability, lateral thinking, logical decision making) and his personal suitability for a career in public service by a board of competent and unbiased observers. Interview is not that of a strict cross-examination but of a natural, though directed and purposive conversation, which is intended to reveal the mental qualities of the candidate.
