  • The Tanimbar Islands are located in the Indonesian province of Maluku, at the end of a long chain of islands that extends from Sumatra to Java, Bali, Lombok, and down to Timor.
  • These islands are a group of around 30 islands located between the Banda and Arafura Seas.
  • It is part of the Kei Archipelago and is under the Southeast Maluku Regency.
