Despite constitutional protections and laws like the Bonded Labour Abolition Act, weak enforcement, poverty, caste discrimination, and informal employment perpetuate exploitation. Strengthening law enforcement, rehabilitation, awareness, and reforms is essential to eradicate it sustainably.
