• The Election Commission of India celebrated the 14th National Voters' Day on January 25, 2024.
• The national function in New Delhi was attended by the Hon’ble President of India, with the Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge), as the Guest of Honour.
• Heads and representatives from Election Management bodies of countries such as Maldives, Philippines, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan also attended the event.

Recognition of Outstanding Performance

• The President presented the Best Electoral Practices Awards for the year 2023 during the event.
