About National Digital Health Mission:

Aim: To develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country. It will bridge the existing gap amongst different stakeholders of Healthcare ecosystem through digital highways.

• It seeks to provide medical identity document to Indian people.
• This identity document would enable people to use Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which is a service in India's publicly funded health care.
