A study revealed that many generic chemotherapy drugs, largely from Indian manufacturers, failed quality tests. These drugs, used worldwide, contained incorrect amounts of active ingredients, rendering them either ineffective or dangerously toxic. This exposes significant gaps in global drug safety nets, putting vulnerable cancer patients at severe risk.

A Study, led by the University of Notre Dame, has exposed that a significant number of essential, life-saving chemotherapy drugs are of dangerously poor quality.
