The Union Government has launched the Ayush Nivesh Saarthi portal to attract investment in the Ayush sector.
It is a one-stop, investor-centric digital gateway developed by the Ministry of Ayush in active collaboration with Invest India, the national investment promotion and facilitation agency.
It acts as a comprehensive resource hub for potential investors, both domestic and global, who are interested in the Ayush sector.
Integrated Single Interface => All essential information and services into a single, user-friendly platform, including detailed policy frameworks, information on government incentives, a repository of investment-ready projects, and real-time facilitation services.
Empowering Investors => Access to real-time data, transparent policy guidance, and insights into a vibrant and expanding market. This empowers them to make informed investment decisions quickly and efficiently.
Real-Time Facilitation => Mechanism for investors to connect directly with relevant government departments and agencies, ensuring that queries are addressed and hurdles are cleared in a time-bound manner.
The sector showed a robust annual growth rate of 17% between 2014 and 2020.
There is a rising global trend towards natural, holistic, and preventive healthcare. This has created an international market for Ayush products and services, including herbal medicines, wellness tourism, and alternative therapies.
