About Exercise CINBAX-II 2026 

Dates and Location

  • Exercise is scheduled from May 4 to May 17, 2026.
  • Hosted in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia.

Participating Forces

  • Indian Army contingent, predominantly from a battalion of the Maratha Light Infantry Regiment.
  • The Cambodian side is represented by personnel from the Royal Cambodian Army.

Core Framework and Focus

  • The joint drill is conducted under the framework of Chapter VII of the United Nations Mandate.
  • The troops will practice specialized skills, including drone operations, mortar handling, and sniper tactics.

The inaugural edition (CINBAX-I) was held in Pune, Maharashtra, from December 1 to 8, 2024, and focused on counter-terrorism and humanitarian mine action.
