• Exercise Name: Bongosagar 2025
• Participants: Indian Navy & Bangladesh Navy
• Location: Bay of Bengal
• Aim : To enhance operational coordination improve maritime security & promote regional stability under SAGAR initiative of India.

Key Details of the Exercise:

• Indian Navy’s Participation: INS Ranvir. It is a Rajput-class Guided Missile Destroyer.
• Bangladesh Navy’s Participation: BNS Abu Ubaidah. It is a vessel of the Bangladesh Navy.

Significance of the Exercise:

• It is for Strengthening India Bangladesh Maritime Relations.
• Its aim is to grow defense and maritime cooperation between India and Bangladesh. It alsoincludes multiple exercises such as Exercise Sampriti (Army) & CORPAT (Coordinated Patrol).
