About Order of the Druk Gyalpo
- Established in 2008 by King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the Order of the Druk Gyalpo translates to "Order of the Dragon King."
- It represents the highest level of Bhutan's honour system.
- It comes in two classes: First Class with a Breast Star and Sash Badge, and Second Class with only a Sash and Badge.
- This is the first time the Order of the Druk Gyalpo has been conferred on a foreign leader, highlighting the exceptional nature of India-Bhutan relations.
