Context: According to the rural development ministry, 26 states and union territories have adopted the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN) or Bhu-Aadhar.
- According to the rural development ministry, some states use ULPIN in the SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas) portal.
- The ministry stated that by April 18, 2023, the computerization of Records of Rights (RoRs) in 6,22,030 (94.62%) of the 6,57,403 villages had been completed.
ULPIN or Bhu-Aadhar
