• The Delhi Education Minister has been invited by Cambridge University to speak at a conference on 'India at 100: Towards Becoming a Global Leader' on June 15.
• She also plans to visit some primary schools in the UK to learn from their best practices and exchange ideas on improving urban governance and design.
• The counsel for the Centre told the court that after getting clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs, the proposal has been forwarded to the economic affairs department for further approval. Once those are done, she can apply for visa permits.
• The court asked the Centre to clear the pending approval as soon as possible and appreciated its promptness. The Centre's counsel assured the court that there would be no delay once the political clearance is done.
