Details

• The Defence Investiture Ceremony-2023 was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the President of India bestowed Gallantry Awards to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces.
• The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister, the Defence Minister, the Chief of Defence Staff and the three Service Chiefs.
• The Gallantry Awards are given to recognize the acts of valour and courage of the personnel in various operations and missions.
