ECI Linking Aadhaar with Voter IDs The Election Commission of India (ECI) wants to link Aadhaar numbers with voter IDs (Electoral Photo Identity Cards, or EPIC) to clean up voter lists. They claim this will remove duplicate admissions, like when someone registers to vote in multiple places, and prevent fake voters.
