• World Water Week 2022 in Stockholm (Sweden) between 23rd August to 1st September.
  • It is the highest conference on Global water issues held every year since 1991.
• The theme of 2022 is “Seeing the Unseen: The Value of Water”.
• This year the event will be in a hybrid manner.
  • From 23rd to 25th August, only online mode.
  • From 28th August to 1st September, both online and offline mode in Stockholm, Sweden.
• This new format will offer numerous opportunities to unite people across the world, boosting ideas, innovation, and discussions about the future.

• Under the world water week 2022, Nearly 300 sessions are scheduled on water-related topics, including food security, health, agriculture, technology, biodiversity, climate change, etc.
• Discussion on the significance of water, from many diverse outlooks.
  • The financial and economic value of water.
  • Value of water for people and development.
  • Value of water for nature and climate.
• Discussions on the pricing of water, indigenous knowledge, human rights, water in aquifers and the soil, etc.
• World Water Week would attract top scientists, UN experts, local community groups, entrepreneurs, top politicians, students, CEOs, and many others.
• The Stockholm Water Prize, the world’s most prestigious water award will be presented on the last day.
• It will help in gaining improvement toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
