Boeing P-8I for the Indian Navy

  • The P-8I excels in long-range operations, specializing in anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASuW), and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
  • With a first-in-industry in-line production system, the aircraft embodies Boeing's commitment to quality, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Multi-Mission Capability: The P-8I stands as a true multi-mission aircraft, combining state-of-the-art sensors and proven weapons systems on a globally recognized platform. It goes beyond coastal patrolling to crucial missions such as search-and-rescue, anti-piracy, and supporting joint military operations.

  • A state-of-the-art Training Support & Data Handling (TSDH) Centre at INS Rajali, with a secondary centre at INS Kochi, underlines the commitment to operational readiness.
  • The customized training solution, combining classroom education with simulation, ensures increased proficiency and reduced on-aircraft training time, thereby enhancing aircraft availability for mission tasking.
