Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary

• Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary is the northernmost wildlife sanctuary of Kerala.
• It is located on the western slope of the Western Ghats contiguous with the forests of Coorg district of Karnataka state.
• It is nestled amidst the serene Cheenkanni River and the beautiful adjoining forests of Brahmagiri Hills.
• It was established in 1984 with its headquarters near Iritty.
• Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the southeast part of Kannur District.
