SUPREME COURT REDEFINED THE OBC 'CREAMY LAYER' RULE

The Supreme Court ruled that parental income alone cannot decide OBC ‘creamy layer’ status. The exclusion must be status-based, not purely income-based, and salary or agricultural income should not be counted.
