INDIA EXTENDS OCI CARD ELIGIBILITY FOR SRI LANKAN RESIDENTS TO SIXTH GENERATION

 The Government of India has announced a significant expansion of the Overseas Citizenship of India card eligibility for persons of Indian origin residing in Sri Lanka. Under the new guidelines, individuals can now claim OCI status based on ancestry tracing back to the sixth generation.
