INTERMEDIATE - RANGE NUCLEAR FORCES(INF) TREATY

 Russia has formally stated that it is no longer bound by the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF). The 1987 arms control treaty prohibited ground-launched missiles with ranges of 500 to 5,500 kilometers. It was signed in 1987 by the United States and Russia (then the Soviet Union).
