Mallakhamb is a traditional form of gymnastics performed with a wooden pole. It is the State Sport of Madhya Pradesh. It is popular in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

 

Gatka originates from Punjab. It is a style of fighting with wooden sticks that originated in the 15th Century.

Thang Ta is an Indian martial art from Manipur.

Kalaripayattu is an Indian martial art that originated in Kerala.
