IVRI scientists successfully produced five Sahiwal calves from one donor cow using OPU-IVF-ET technology. This breakthrough enables the rapid multiplication of high-yielding, climate-resilient indigenous cattle, bypassing natural biological limits to significantly boost India’s dairy sector and genetic conservation.
