PM SURYA GHAR MUFT BIJLI YOJANA: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

 The Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana has benefited 15.45 lakh households, with 33% in Gujarat. It offers free electricity, financial savings, energy security, independence, and job creation. The government provides subsidies for systems upto 3 kilowatts. The scheme aims to contribute to India's Net Zero emissions target and create 17 lakh new jobs.
